Energy Efficiency Improvements at Norwich City School District

C&S completed energy-efficiency improvements at Norwich City School District’s middle school, high school, and intermediate and primary schools. The project received a Gold Engineering Excellence Award from ACEC-NY. Improvements included:

Converting exhaust fans to DDC controls and relays
AHU pneumatic actuators removed and replaced with new DDC actuators, along with new dampers and linkages
FCUs added to existing control systems
Interior and exterior lighting replaced with new high-efficiency LED lights
Integrated adaptive lighting control systems
Unit ventilators removed and replaced with new hot water unit ventilators with full DDC controls
Added UVs to existing control system
Replaced existing dampers with new dampers, added to the control system
Replaced domestic hot water with new condensing domestic hot water heater
