Lockheed Martin Energy Audit
C&S conducted an energy efficiency study of the four largest buildings at Lockheed Martin’s Liverpool facility covering over 1.5 million square feet, funded at 50% by NYSERDA. Energy efficiency measures included HVAC upgrades, process improvements, envelope improvements, and more.
Part of the study included an in-depth chiller plant analysis which identified cooling capacity shortages as well as how the plant was performing from an efficiency standpoint under a variety of load conditions.
Over $937,000 of facility improvements were recommended which would save more than $60,000 a year in energy costs resulting in 15.5 year payback.
