Comprehensive Site Utility Assessment

C&S completed a campus-wide site utility assessment for SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. The college is located on approximately 336 acres of land with the main campus area containing more than 70 buildings, including academic teaching centers, residence halls, agricultural complexes, and athletic facilities. The utility assessment fulfilled the college’s need to locate, document, and maintain a database of information about existing campus utilities.

The project included an overall assessment of each underground utility asset through physical inspection, associated testing, and a condition report. Each utility was mapped in three dimensions, and the mapping was integrated with an updated aerial photogrammetric survey of the entire campus. The mapping and associated database of information can be integrated with the college’s computerized maintenance management system in the future. C&S also provided one year of technical support for the electronic information model.
