Project

Chili’s Grill & Bar Tenant Improvements

C&S provided full-service design for the renovation of the Chili’s Grill & Bar located in the Jacksonville International Airport’s post-security central area.

The project included converting a tenant shell space into an entirely new casual sit-down food and beverage establishment. The Jacksonville International Airport had executed plans to expand their TSA screening area, impacting the existing Chili’s restaurant that previously occupied the area. The previous Chili’s space was demolished, and the tenant space was reconfigured into a new shell space, providing Chili’s with a blank slate to build a brand new, up-to-date restaurant.

The overall design solution transformed the reconfigured tenant space to a sleek, open space that exemplifies the current Chili’s branding, highlighted by a 25-seat feature bar. Significant coordination with the TSA expansion design team and Jacksonville International Airport staff was required as this space was designed while the TSA expansion team was wrapping up their design and entering construction.

C&S provided full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for conceptual design, construction documents, and construction administration services through the completion of the project.
