Benovic Elected President of Ohio Aviation Association Board of Officers
Congratulations to Maria Benovic, who was recently elected to serve as the President of the Ohio Aviation Association (OAA) Officers for a one-year term. She was elected at the OAA Conference in August.
Founded in 1965 as the Ohio Airport Manager’s Association, the OAA is a non-profit corporation committed to airport development and safety in Ohio. OAA’s mission is to promote aviation by providing a medium for the exchange of ideas, methods, information, and experiences; to foster public recognition and understanding of aviation in Ohio; to promote and encourage better relations between airports, users, and communities served; and to cooperate with all organizations working for the general advancement and benefit of aviation. The OAA Officers and Board of Directors serve the Ohio aviation community on a voluntary basis.
Maria Benovic is a project engineer that has been with C&S for nine years. She is a project manager, client manager and design engineer for airport and site/civil related projects. She works daily with clients, providing consultation on both project and non-project related airport issues, including land release and development, grant and DBE support.
