Ribbon Cutting Opens New Madison County Highway Garage
Madison County recently held a ribbon cutting for their new state of the art highway garage in Eaton. C&S provided design services for the new facility, which includes the main 53,000-square-foot building, a cold storage building, material lay-down areas, a fuel facility, and a salt storage building. The parking area can hold 12 fully loaded plow trucks, in addition to other vehicles and equipment.
“We are excited to be opening the doors to our new highway facility,” said Madison County Board Chairman John Becker. “For years now, we have known that a new facility was needed to serve the southern part of our county. The old garage was not adequate or safe for our equipment or for our employees. This new state of the art facility will serve our community for years to come.”
The new highway facility is not just an improvement in terms of space but also a significant upgrade in functionality and safety for the county’s operations. One of the essential features of this facility is its robust garage door system, designed to withstand the demands of daily use while ensuring easy access for large equipment. The innovative design enhances security, making it a vital component in protecting valuable resources and equipment stored inside.
To maintain the longevity and reliability of these doors, regular maintenance is crucial. Partnering with experts like D&L Garage Doors can ensure that the garage doors remain in optimal condition, minimizing downtime and extending their lifespan. Their professional services can provide thorough inspections and prompt repairs, ensuring that the facility operates smoothly and safely for years to come, fulfilling the community’s needs efficiently.
In addition to Becker, the ribbon cutting was attended by Senator Rachel May, Assemblyman John Salka, Madison County Supervisor Ronald Bono, Madison County Director of Facilities John Regan, and Madison County Highway Superintendent F. Joseph Wisinski, among others.
