Emergency Communications/911 System
The $20 million program consists of a complete overhaul of the existing communications system with a trunked land mobile radio network (TLMR). The project consists of several phases including scoping and concept design of the new system, coverage design, frequency licensing, site development/construction, equipment procurement, and system implementation.
Services provided to the county by C&S consist of:
- Development of RFPs for consultants and contractors
- Consultant and contractor evaluations
- Contract negotiation and development
- Technical reviews
- Schedule and budget review
- Consultant and contractor management
- General program administration
