McIntosh Honored with AzAA Corporate Member of the Year Award
Lance McIntosh, department manager of C&S’s Western/Pacific aviation region, was recently honored with the Corporate Member of the Year Award by the Arizona Airports Association (AzAA). The award honors an individual for their dedication and support of aviation in Arizona during the last year. Lance has been actively involved with the organization for several years, most recently as the Corporate Director on the board of directors.
Throughout his 25 plus year career, Lance has worked almost exclusively on airport improvement projects. He has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to successfully complete projects at a majority of Arizona’s public use airports. His work includes geometric design, pavement design, pavement rehabilitation, infrastructure design, and development of complex phasing plans. Lance also assists sponsors with airport capital improvement programs, preparation of grant applications and reimbursement requests, annual reports, DBE reporting, and coordination with FAA and ADOT. Lance holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Arizona State University and he is a registered professional engineer in Arizona.
AzAA was formed in 1979 to bring together the representatives of public and private airports and others interested in the general benefit of aviation to provide information, expertise and support to all those in the State’s aviation industry. Further, the Association works to foster public recognition of airports and the airport executive profession, and to assist in the future development of air transportation in Arizona.
